Join Honens as they make music accessible to everyone with this special morning concert featuring Duo Karolina Mikołajczyk & Iwo Jedynecki.
“Seeing my young son experience live music for the first time, in a setting where he was free to be himself, without expectations or restrictions, is something I will always remember.”
Join Duo Karolina Mikołajczyk & Iwo Jedynecki with Karolina Mikołajczyk on violin and Iwo Jedynecki on accordion, for a relaxed, sensory-friendly performance designed to welcome all audiences, including neurodivergent individuals and families with young children. This adaptive concert brings you beloved classical works to life with thoughtful pacing, narration, and space for every listener to engage in their own way.
The program features vibrant and expressive music—from the folkloric flair of Bacewicz and Bartók to the dreamy beauty of Debussy’s Clair de Lune, and the fiery tangos of Astor Piazzolla. Vivaldi’s Summer unfolds with breaks between movements to describe the story behind the music, creating an interactive and enriching experience for all.
Presented in partnership with the National Music Centre and Xenia Concerts, this event is part of Honens’ commitment to making exceptional music accessible to everyone.
$5 per family (ticket fee refunded upon arrival).
