Join us every Sunday in February for live DJ sets celebrating Black History Month. On February 8th, Calgary's own DJ Suppa D spins classic and new Soca, Reggae and Dancehall.
One of Western Canada’s most dynamic and culture-driven DJs, DJ Suppa D has a core sound rooted in Soca and a seamless ability to blend Dancehall, Afrobeats, Reggae, and R&B. As a DJ and sound engineer, Suppa D brings not only energy but a deep understanding of sound, vibe, and crowd connection—making him a standout in both live performance and production spaces.
In 2024, DJ Suppa D elevated his profile across key Caribbean culture events in Canada. He opened the stage at Carifest’s Night Carnival, held it down at the official afterparty, and brought the road to life as the Sykotik Mas Band road DJ in both Edmonton and Calgary. He also represented strongly at the Victoria Caribbean Festival and rang in the new year with the Trinidad & Tobago Association’s NYE Celebration for 2024/2025.
In 2025, DJ Suppa D opened for international soca artists Machel Montano, DJ Puffy, and Jus Jay. He also returned as the Sykotik Mas Band road DJ in both Edmonton and Calgary. Alongside King Mars, DJ Suppa D curated the Carifest Takeover of the Badlands Music Festival stage during Stampede, and he capped off the year with a performance at the Trinidad and Tobago Association’s New Year’s Eve Celebration.
